Rodolfo Avila Disappointed

Rodolfo had a very unlucky Macau Grand Prix indeed. We all had high expectations as he has had a good season at F3 this year. We wish him the best for 2007 and will continue to support him. Go Rodolfo!

Macau motorsport rising star Rodolfo Avila had an unlucky weekend at his hometown event the Macau Grand Prix. On Sunday, in the main race of FIA F3 Intercontinental Cup at Circuito da Guia, the #23 Performance Racing Dallara F306-Mügen Honda hit the barriers in the open lap. Rodolfo Avila was quite disappointed but he is now focusing on the 2007 season.

Plater Spoils Rutter’s Record Ambitions

Steve Plater emerged triumphant from a record-breaking Rio Hotel Macau Motorcycle Grand Prix – 40th Edition to take victory and put paid to Michael Rutter’s hopes of adding to his tally of wins.

Plater, on the AIM Racing Yamaha 1000, passed Rutter, the pre-race favourite, on lap four and stayed out ahead of his rival until the chequered flag.

Kevin Schwantz at Grand Prix of Macau

It has been confirmed that Kevin Schwantz and Ron Haslam will appear at the 40th Macau Motorcycle Grand Prix. Things are starting to warm up for the Grand Prix of Macau which is happening from November 16-19, 2006. Of course we will all be supporting our own Rodolfo Avila at the 53th Grand Prix of Macau, which is this year sponsored by the Rio Casino and Hotel.

Former Motorcycle World Champion Kevin Schwantz will be amongst the former winners heading for China this November as the Macau Grand Prix celebrates the 40th running of its famous motorcycle street race.
