Macau Tallest Condominium Launched

Tallest Apartment complex ‘The Praia’ was launched on the 13th of September. The complex will house a total of 4 towers and about 1200 apartments. Each tower will be 56 storey and 185 meters height. With a 270 degrees paranomic view, this will be the tallest apartment project undergoing in before the construction of the 63 storey ‘Arch Of Triumph’ near the second phase of Mandarin Oriental Hotel. The total investment of the project is approximately around 2.5 billion dollars MOP. MOP8 = US$1

Foundation will be completed by next month and the whole complex will be finish by the end of 2008. It will becomes a ‘landmark’ in once it completed.

Mandarin Oriental earnings up in Macau

Comment - And so the hotel boom in continues on, first the Emporor Group profit was boosted by Grand Emperor Hotel profits being up 34.2%, and now the Mandarin Oriental together with its sister Hong Kong hotel is responsible for 50% of the profits of the Madarin Oriental group. Very impressive indeed, looks like the future for the new hotel entrants will be bright indeed!

Mandarin Oriental International Ltd., which manages luxury hotels in Asia, Europe and the Americas, said first-half profit fell 12 percent on lost revenue from its Hong Kong flagship, which was closed for renovations.
