Macau visitor expenditure Up

The per-capita spending of visitors in Macao reached 1,468 patacas (183.5 U.S. dollars) in the second quarter, a year-on-year rise of 10 percent, according to official statistics issued Thursday.
The figures released by the government-run Statistics and Census Service (SCS) showed that visitors from the Chinese mainland took the lead on the expenditure list with 2,875 patacas (359 U.S. dollars).
As reported by China Economic Net - The per-capita shopping spending surged by 22 percent year-on-year to 668 patacas (83.5 U.S. dollars) in the quarter, the figures showed.
Meanwhile, the per-capita non-shopping spending increased by 2 percent to 800 patacas (100 U.S. dollars) in the period, according to the statistics.
