Director of MGTO, Mr João Manuel Costa Antunes, said at a press conference today that the agency was found to have violated clauses of the ”Macau Tour” management mechanism for receiving agents, resulting in the stripping of its Macau receiving agent license.
To facilitate the management of tourism industry in Macao, MGTO would actively promote honest travel practices, crack down on zero-priced and negative-priced tours, modify related rules and regulations and increase inspections at major scenic spots and terminals, said the Deputy Director of MGTO, Mr Manuel Pires.
