Wynn Poaches Sands Macau Agent

HONG KONG (XFN-ASIA) - The new Wynn Macau casino has poached VIP agent, Malaysian Phua Wei Seng, from its rival, Sands Macau, the South China Morning Post reported.

Citing unnamed sources, the newspaper said the agent, who brought in 36 pct of Sands’ 12.84 bln usd in VIP chip turnover last year, will deliver high rollers to both casinos for now.

Macau is expected to eclipse the Las Vegas Strip in terms of revenue this year, pulling in an estimated 7 bln usd.
