Who won Macau Open Badminton Championship 2008 ?
The winner is Taufik Hidayat. Yes, finally my favorite badminton player won a trophy after a bad performance in 2008 Beijing Olympics.
Taufik Hidayat beat Lee Chong Wei with 21-19 21-15. This result was a surprise for two reasons:
- Taufik Hidayat performances are not good this year.
- Lee Chong Wei ranking is higher than Taufik Hidayat ranking, reports BMT.
Hopefully, this match result would postpone Taufik Hidayat retirement plan, because he is still number one Indonesia’s badminton player.
