ceases the corporation with Performance Racing

’s Management Team announces that Macanese driver Rodolfo Avila will not continue to race for Performance Racing Europe in the British Championship 2007.

Although the confidence in the team was extremely good last season, the chemistry between team and driver has recently been missing, following the departure of some key team members, like Mike Baker (Commercial Director/Team Manager), Alan Langridge (Chief Engineer) and Russell Eeles (Chief Mechanic).

The high expectations at the beginning of the season couldn’t be met by the team. The pre-season results somehow fell short of what everybody expected, and most likely wouldn’t become any better in the foreseeable future.

Therefore terminated the cooperation with Performance Racing Europe immediately and will not race at Donington Park for the team.

Despite being very disappointed sincerely wishes Performance Racing Europe all the best for the future. The Macanese driver wishes to thank his engineer Paul Anthony and his mechanics for their dedication and efforts during the 2007 short period of teamwork.

’s future racing plans will be released during the next few days. Notwithstanding he is sure that he will be in the grid of 54th Macau Grand Prix - FIA Intercontinental Cup.
