Melco PBL To Join Eighth Wonder For Singapore Licence

It is confirmed that the gaming licence that PBL had is now been transfered to the Melco PBL jointventure. Also Melco PBL will be jointly bidding for the second Singapore licence together with the Las Vegas’ Eight Wonder consortium.
Courtesy Forbes | Australia’s Publishing & Broadcasting Ltd (PBL) has received approval from the Macau government to transfer its gaming licence to its joint venture Melco PBL Entertainment, Melco International Development said.
Melco PBL Entertainment will own the licence following the transfer, it said in a statement.
PBL obtained a Macau gaming sub-concession from US-based Wynn Resorts for 900 mln usd early this year.
Separately, Melco confirmed that it is participating in a consortium led by Las Vegas firm Eighth Wonder which will bid for a casino license in Singapore.
It said it will participate through Melco PBL Singapore Pte Ltd, its 50-50 joint venture with PBL in Singapore.
