Macau Motorcycle Grand Prix Video Game

The Macau Grand Prix Committee and United Kingdom video games developer and publisher Jester Interactive Publishing Ltd and are pleased to announce that an agreement for video games has been concluded for the thrilling Macau Motorcycle Grand Prix. This is the first time the event has featured in a video game, and helps mark the 40th anniversary of the Far East Classic.
The historic Guia Circuit will be recreated in the forthcoming sequel of Jester’s successful motorcycle racing game TT Superbikes on PlayStation®2. The new game features The Macau Motorcycle Grand Prix, Ulster Grand Prix, International North West 200, Oliver’s Mount and Aberdare Park road racing circuits along with the Southern 100 and notorious Isle of Man Tourist Trophy races.
“The Macau Motorcycle Grand Prix is perfect for the TT Superbikes game and we are honoured to have the support of the Macau Grand Prix Committee to feature their exciting race” commented Clark Evans, Director of Jester. “The Macau Grand Prix is a fantastic event and the Guia Circuit is a very special place. If you’re a motor sport fan you have to come and see it”
TT riders themselves are big fans of the TT Superbikes game and regard it as is being incredibly accurate as it includes obscure track features such as manhole covers, and the settings changes which can be made to the bikes are very realistic, producing the virtual effects you would obtain from actual settings.
The challenge is on for all motorcycle and racing game fans to see what it takes to race and win between the concrete walls and steel barriers of Macau, and the trees hedges and stone walls of the toughest racing circuits in the World when the TT Superbikes game sequel is released in 2007.
