American Banks Barred From Doing Business With Banco Delta Asia

Washington has decided to formally bar American banks from doing business with the Macau-based Banco Delta Asia (BDA), suspected of handling illicit North Korean assets, the U.S. Treasury Department said on Tuesday.
The Treasury Department is expected to make an announcement this week that could help overseas regulators identify highest-risk and lower-risk account holders, a U.S. government official said.
