“No effects” over Singapore Casino project
Written on June 1, 2006 by admin
Two of the heads of Macau's gaming concessionaires said that the Singapore's Integrated Resort project will not affect Macau.
The CEO of the SJM, Stanley Ho, said that his company is "not interested" in Singapore's casino project "at the first place", and did not believe that the island state's move will affect both his company and Macau itself.
He expressed confidence in Macau's future development.
Chief Operating Officer of Venetian Macau, Frank McFadden, said that his company has consistently reinvest in Macau using profits made there, and all investment projects are on the course of completion according to plan.
Its victory over Singapore's bid does not affect its projects in Macau, he said.
