Poker Machines Are All The Rage In Macau

As Steve Wynn recently said poker machines despite contradictory reports are doing very well in Wynn and said they are adding more machines in his casino.

Aristocrat has only been able to sell into the market for the past few years since the Government introduced Western-style regulations for the casino industry. Mr Oneile said had the potential for an installed base of 30,000 to 40,000 poker machines.

He said Aristocrat had the potential to provide a significant share of the machines in the new Western-style casinos as many Asian gamblers were familiar with the machines used in the Australian casinos.

“We have focused on the low-denomination machines in particular - which has been very successful in . A lot of the Asian players are used to our machines from their visits to Australia.” Mr Oneile said there was no potential to expand the installed base of poker machines in Australia due to state-based regulations.
