Galaxy Entertainment Group Appoints Advertising Agencies

Galaxy Group have entered into agency agreements with Hong Kong companies Leo Burnett Limited and TBWA Limited, to manage advertising and related activities. According to a company statement, Galaxy concluded agreements with Leo Burnett and TBWA to manage advertising and related activities of its Galaxy Mega Resort and StarWorld Hotel and Casino accounts, respectively.

“First phase of its Galaxy Mega Resort, which forms the largest land bank in , is currently under construction and will be the jewel in the crown of the Galaxy Group property portfolio,” the statement read.

Francis Lui, deputy chairman, Galaxy Group said “We are extremely pleased that both of these world-class agencies are now working on our business. We believe that both properties deserve equal focus and first class marketing capabilities. We went through a rigorous selection process and witnessed some very special presentations and ideas, and now we are very excited by the opportunity to work with the best in the industry.”

“We aim to be Asia’s leading gaming and group, with visitation to exceed 42 million by 2010 and gaming revenues exceeding HK$100 billion. We see these agency agreements with Leo Burnett and TBWA as important partnerships,” he added.
